From chopping tops, shaving handles, custom flooring, to blocking,sanding and painting, this position requires it all. Including frame modifications, suspension and brake upgrades, custom exhaust work and more. Sheet metal fabrication, mig and tig welding, along with tubular frame design and construction. Must have organization skills, and be up to date on current trends and products. Problem solving along with creativity required. Powder Coating experience helpful. This is a "Behind the Scenes" full time position located in Franklin, TN. Expect odd hours at times, occasional travel and realistic deadlines that must be met. RTM Productions is looking for an experienced fabricator / 4x4 builder to join our highly successful team on America’s #1 off-road television program: “Xtreme 4x4!”
From building custom width axles, 4 link suspensions, tube chassis’, and full roll cages, this position requires all the skills needed to design and build off-road 4x4’s. The successful candidate will be required to take a stock pick-up, Jeep or SUV and turn it into a one-of-a-kind trail truck, utilizing the latest technology. MIG and TIG welding a must, as well as experience with heavy fabrication tools, cold saws, tube benders, cutters, etc. Experience with gear swaps, transmission and transfer case rebuilding, engine modification a must. Good communication skills, problem solving required as well as ability to organize and layout projects to meet reasonable deadlines. This is a “Behind the Scenes” full time position located in Franklin, TN. Expect odd hours at times, occasional travel.
